In the tradition of Boys Choirs throughout the world from the ancient times with the development of western music through the modern day, the Woodlands Boys Choir was launched in the fall of 2015.

The first small group of boys did amazing work, debuting with the Lone Star College Choir in their Christmas Interfaith Benefit Concert in December 2015.  This was followed by a stunning performance at the Christmas in the Woods Lessons and Carols at our sponsoring church, HopePointe Anglican Church in The Woodlands.

Our first spring (2016), we were mentored by our friends at Fort Bend Boys Choir, founded now beginning their 35th season.  Their Founding Artistic Director, Bill Adams, brought 10 of his Touring Choir to The Woodlands and directed us in a Mini-Retreat.  Our boys joined together in rehearsals, games, stories and a performance.

This inspirational experience led to a successful first concert season with concerts for performances blessing and being blessed at The Forum The Woodlands and The Village at the Woodlands Waterway and our First Annual Spring Concert at HopePointe.

Fall 2017 included a Christmas performance with the Montgomery County Choral Society.

Summer 2017 is our landmark INAUGURAL TOUR to Louisiana.

The new season 2017 - 2018 will bring about additional boys in this top group and exciting collaboration with other musical arts organizations.  The highlight of the year will be a tour to Washington D.C. and participation in the Baltimore Boyschoir Festival in the spring!
