In the tradition of Boys Choirs throughout the world from ancient times, with the development of western music in the early Church, through the modern day, the Woodlands Boys Choir was launched in the fall of 2015.

The first group of boys did amazing work, debuting with the Lone Star College Choir in their Christmas Interfaith Benefit Concert in December 2015.  This was followed by a stunning performance at the Christmas in the Woods Lessons and Carols at HopePointe Anglican Church in The Woodlands, which generously sponsors the Woodlands Boys Choir.

In the spring, the Concert Choir sponsored a mini-retreat with members of the Fort Bend Boys Choir Touring Choir, which was directed by their Founding Director, Bill Adams.  Music Teachers/Choral Directors in Conroe ISD came and learned from Mr. Adams as well.  Our boys then performed their first concert and took their show on the road at area senior centers.

This year, we look forward to more concerts, trips, festivals and community performances. Tours are in our future as well!  In addition, we give back to our sponsoring church, HopePointe and participate in special services during the year.
